OUR ACTIVITIES

We hold an annual meeting in autumn, which will include academic discussions.

The Fifth Euro-Japanese Colloquium on the Ancient Mediterranean World
Theme: The Past in the Present: Cultural Memory and its Agencies in the Ancient Mediterranean World (and Beyond)

PAST ACTIVITIES

Before the foundation of our association, Mariko SAKURAI (Tokyo), Catherine MORGAN (KCL) and Charlotte ROUECHE(KCL) started Euro-Japanese Colloquium in the Ancient Mediterranean World. The first meeting was held in March, 2005, at Senate House, London University. Since then, most of the founding members of this association have joined in the meetings and communicated with Europen leading scholars and young academics.
