There is the enormous area history document which has been maintained in a community because a Japanese community suddenly switched structure for a crisis of the loss now. Furthermore, the successive occurrence of an earthquake and the storm and flood damage hastened this situation. At great disaster after Hanshin / the Awaji great earthquake disaster, historical materials maintenance activity by the history researcher has been performed continuously. Only by historical materials save on the basis of designated cultural assets and maintenance by local inhabitants, it became clear that the maintenance of the local history document was impossible. If we ignore this critical situation, the development of elucidation of the history of the community and the history study becomes remarkably difficult.
Therefore we reexamine the present conditions of the historical materials safekeeping at the stricken area led by the history researcher who engaged in historical materials maintenance at a stricken area. A study of conventional history document studies accumulates these data in the basics and compiles result of international history document studies. Furthermore, I refer to the cultural assets save science related to history and weigh each local history document maintenance theory. Our study purpose is to build the area history document studies which can do succeeding a local history document in the next generation and the history recognition of local inhabitants wealthily.
I expose a focus to the history document maintenance theory of the stricken area by the large-scale natural disaster of each place to build new local history document studies in this study.
① We generalize the individual history document maintenance theory that has been formed around a stricken area and I can include investigation / a workshop at the spot and inspect it intensively.
② We grasp what kind of position there is this history document maintenance theory in development of history document studies.
③ We make the position of the local history document to be able to put in the whole of local cultural assets clear. I study the new restoration method and history document save idea of the flood damage document in the emergency in particular.
By the above-mentioned method, we aim at the construction of new local history document studies supporting the history study of the next generation.
① This study solves a high problem of the emergency to support a study and the succession of the local history culture. The local history document studies form the base of the local history culture of all parts of Japan, and a ripple effect is extremely socially high for the arts and sciences.
② When natural disaster occurred by this study, I can make a scientific indicator for history document maintenance. When a large-scale disaster occurred, there will be an effect in this indicator in a point to make ability to keep the history document of the person concerned with history of all parts of Japan in good condition.
③ It has possibility to save a history document from the crisis of the loss globally to send the maintenance method of the local history document at the time of the large-scale natural disaster to the world.
