Research Outline
Psychology is a study domain that describes and predicts the human mind and behavior with a scientific approach. How do we sense and perceive visual, auditory, and tactile information around us? How higher cognitive functions, such as memory, thoughts, and decision-making, work? Also, how do the cognitive functions described above interact with other higher functions, like language and motor skills? Besides, how do social aspects such as specific social relationships, communication, grouping and culture influence the mind? To address those questions, we dedicate research by using psychophysical, neurophysiological, and social-psychological techniques.
