Personal Background

1982: Master of Arts (Kyoto University), 1986 to 1989: German scientific exchange scholarship at Brunswick college of engineering and Osnabrück University, 1989: Doctor of Philosophy (Osnabrück. The main referees were Prof .Dr. Boeder and Prof. Dr. Lenzen.)

Fields of Specialization

Studying Leibniz and Husserl or epistemology and ontology, besides teaching environmental ethics in Japanese contexts. Now doing an inter or transdisciplinary research project about the science and technology from the viewpoint of synergy of public and expertise together with the colleagues of the natural and social scientists, as one of the advanced interdisciplinary research of Kobe University.
