Personal Background
HATANO Hiroaki received his Ph.D. from the Graduate School of Intercultural Studies, Kobe University, in March 2012. After holding positions at the Japan Foundation Japanese-Language Institute, Urawa, the Institute of Language Education, Tokyo International University, and the Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Tsukuba, he has been a Lecturer at the Global Education Center, Institute for Promotion of Higher Education, Kobe University, since October 2025.
